Joiners pack: 900 pieces (TS0052)
This is a pack of small card triangles are used in conjunction with low melt adhesives to reinforce constructions made from timber packs.
Card triangles are used by placing minimal adhesive the timber surface and then placing the reinforcing card triangle in position. Applying light clamping pressure will ensure that a strong joint is made.
Joiners with a hole may also be used as axle supports.When joining timber strips together using card joiners a stronger joint is obtained using a joiner on both sides of the timber; however in many cases where extra timber pieces are included in the structure double-sided joining may be unnecessary.
To help accuracy when constructing 90, 60 or 45 degree structures the use of a 'Jointer' is suggested. 'Jointers' are small plastic jigs that hold the timber at the correct angle while the glue hardens.
