Self adjusting wire strippers, with adjustment for different wire stripping diameters.
Wire clamping mechanism may be varied to achieve different clamping/ holding pressures.
Self adjusting wire strippers can be used by children to strip plastic coating from hook-up wire. No special skill is needed to operate them.
The length of wire from which the plastic insulation is to be removed can be determined and when clamped into the stripper where it is firmly held in place. The secondary action of further squeezing the tool will remove the wire insulation and expose the copper wire.
The tool has a wire cutting capability.
