Wheel cardboard mixed Pk/20 sheets (TS0082)
These are quality thick, white cardboard wheels, cut to size with a centre holes to suit various axles.
Each wheel presses out of the sheet and the centres press out of the wheels.
There are 20 sheets per pack and each sheet has the following wheels,
- 40 mm diameter with centre hole 3mm diameter, 5 wheels per sheet, 100 wheels per pack.
- 45 mm diameter with centre hole 4mm diameter, 4 wheels per sheet, 80 wheels per pack.
- 50 mm diameter with centre hole 5.5mm diameter, 4 wheels per sheet, 80 wheels per pack.
- Total wheels per pack is 260
Cardboard wheels: 40 mm diameter: To locate wheels in position on an axle use wheel retainers for 3.00 mm diameter axle, TS0102.
Cardboard wheels: 45 mm diameter: To locate wheels in position on an axle use wheel retainers for 4.00 mm diameter axle, TS0103.
Cardboard wheels: 50 mm diameter: To locate wheels in position on an axle use wheel retainers for 5.15 mm diameter axle, TS0104.
Where wood skewers (bamboo/ cane) are used as axles there will be variations in the diameter of these skewers. Some wheels will rotate on the axles and some may be a tight fit. It is only when the axles and wheels are loose that wheels retainers are needed.
When the axle and wheel are tight fits the entire axle and wheel need to rotate within the hole created in the body of the vehicle you are making.
'HINT', place a plastic straw through your cardboard carton and allow the axle to rotate within the straw.
Alternatively use our white plastic rigid tube TS0014 as an axle tube.
